*Ingredients:
+Cake:
°2 cups flour
°2 cups sugar°
°1/4 teaspoon salt
°4 tbsp. Cocoa powder
°2 butter sticks
°1 cup boiling water
°1/2 cup butter milk
°2 Eggs
°1 teaspoon baking soda
°1 teaspoon vanilla extract
+Frost:
°1/2 cup chopped pecan
°1 3/4 Butter Sticks
°4 tbsp. Cocoa powder
°6 tbsp. Milk
°1 teaspoon vanilla extract
°4 Cups
In a medium mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar and salt.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and add cocoa powder.
Stir in boiling water while allowing the mixture to boil for 30 seconds before removing it from the heat.
Pour over the flour mixture and gently stir.
In a small bowl, add the yogurt, eggs, baking soda and vanilla.
Stir until combined.
Pour into the chocolate/flour mixture and stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into the cookie sheet (use 18 × 13 to avoid spilling).
Bake the cake in a preheated oven, 350 for 19-21 minutes.
While baking the cake, make the frost by melting the butter in a saucepan.
Add the cocoa powder and stir until combined.
Remove from heat and add milk, vanilla and powdered sugar.
Add the pecans.
Pour frost over the warm cake once the cake is removed from the oven.
Leave to sit for 30 minutes before slicing into squares!
