*Ingredients:
°300g (2 cups) flour
°1 egg
°45g (1/4 cup) sugar
°a pinch of salt
°7 grams of dry yeast
°140ml (3/5 cup) hot milk
°40g (1/4 cup) soft butter
+For decoration:
°whipped cream
°Chopped strawberry
°granulated sugar
*instructions:
Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix the sugar, yeast, and milk and stir until dissolved.
Step 2: Beat the eggs. Add flour and salt and start kneading the dough with a spoon. Then keep kneading with your palms until you get an elastic dough.
Step 3: Add the softened butter and continue kneading until the butter is properly incorporated into the dough.
Step4: Form a ball with the dough, cover it with a tea towel or plastic wrap and let it rise for an hour.
Step5: Divide the dough into eight elements and roll each right into a ball. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes.
Step 6: Flatten each ball slightly and roll it straight into a ball again. Cover and allow to rest every other 30 minutes.
Step7: Fry the balls in warm oil on low heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Step8: Cool just barely and cut into 1/2 lengthwise, like a burger bun.
Step9: Garnish with 1/2 cup whipped cream and chopped strawberries, alternate close to 1/2, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
