*Ingredients:
°1 cup cold water.
°1 cup of melted ghee.
°1 and a half cups of granulated sugar.
°2 cans of chopped peaches in syrup.
°2 teaspoons lemon extract.
°2 teaspoons vanilla.
°2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
°2 teaspoons nutmeg.
°3 BKG Betty Crocker™ pie crust mixes.
*instructions:
You preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix 1 PKG pie crust mixture and 1/3 cup cold water until mixture forms into a ball. Rolled into a rectangle, 11 by 8 inches, cut into 4 strips. Then I put strips on an ungreased cookie sheet; Bake 18 minutes and set aside.
In a large bowl, I combine sugar, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon and peach extract.
Pour half of the mixture into a baking dish, and arrange 4 pastry slices on top.
Pour the remaining half of the peach mixture over it. Then put the crust on top of the mixture in the baking dish. Seal on the edges of the dish.
Bake about 50 to 60 minutes or until crust is golden. I store covered in the refrigerator.
