Chicken and Dressing Casserole



*Ingredients

°1 8x8 cornbread pan, prepared and crumbled
(We use the Jiffy brand and you will need 1 egg and 1/3 cup milk to make the cornbread)
°4 cups cooked and shredded chicken
°4 eggs, boiled and chopped
°1 small onion, finely chopped
°1 to 2 tablespoons of sage
°salt to taste (I use about 1 tsp!)
°1/2 tsp black pepper
°1/2 tsp garlic powder
°1/4 cup melted butter (I use unsalted)
°1.5 cups of chicken broth
°1 can cream of mushroom soup
°2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

*Instructions

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Crumble prepared cornbread and remaining ingredients into a large bowl. Mix well by hand. Grease a 2-quart baking dish. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden and set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
